Lenisa Taylor, DNP, FNP-C Injection Specialist, Clinical Director
A transplant from New Mexico, Lenisa earned her BSN in at New Mexico State University in 2002 and graduated at the top of her class. Her nursing career started in critical care where for over 15 years she earned various certifications, was a charge nurse and a clinical instructor as well as developed, wrote and implemented hospital policy. In 2020, she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from New Mexico State University! As a Nurse Practitioner, Lenisa not only has the medical credentials to provide a full array of medical care but also the real-world experience to handle just about anything! Lenisa has demonstrated a strong aptitude for aesthetics as she has become an amazing and skilled injector immediately out of the gate! She is compassionate, a great listener, has an artistic eye with a very steady and skilled hand. Skinjectables is beyond excited to have her as a member of the team.
Francisco Sanchez-Navarro M.D. F.A.C.S
Medical Director
Dr. Sanchez-Navarro, a native Tucsonan and fluent Spanish speaker, attended Pepperdine University in California and received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He subsequently completed a six-year program in plastic surgery, training under accomplished plastic surgeons at Wright State University. With his passion for plastic surgery, he has served the world community by operating on children with various birth defects in Mexico and remote areas of Argentina. Before moving back to Tucson, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro had a successful cosmetic surgery practice in Denver, Colorado where he received the award of Top Doctor. Despite the popular practice in Denver, Dr. Sanchez-Navarro always knew he would return to Tucson, where he and his beautiful wife most recently adding a beautiful baby girl to his growing family of 5!
James Titone, MPAS-C, CLT Injection Specialist
James comes to Skinjectables with over 19 years of experience in performing Botox™, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, and many other cosmetic procedures. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology as well as Health Science; and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. James’ passion and precision in applying techniques that maintain a natural and age appropriate appearance show in his work. His educational background coupled with extensive experience in dermatological and cosmetic procedures brought him to his specialty of correction of facial volume loss with fillers. He has performed thousands of cosmetic procedures throughout his career. James is committed to being trained in new products and techniques as they relate to the cosmetic industry. He is currently a national trainer for Galderma.
Jennifer Aikin, RN, BSN
Injection Specialist
Jennifer started her nursing career in 2009 and has held many highly regarded positions such as a Nurse Manager and Assistant Director of Nursing in Plastics. Being a team leader, her colleagues look to her for empathy, compassion, and support…not to mention her huge brain. It isn’t a wonder that Jennifer is a Ben’s Bells “Be Kind” Ambassador! Her affinity for nursing and passion for aesthetics has led her to Skinjectables where she has become our newest team member to skillfully administer the Liquid Gold-in-a-syringe. She absolutely loves being an RN injector- the combination of nursing and the art that comes with it, the unique challenges that can come with treating each patient, as well as the relationships she gets to make with patients. Oh, and one more thing- her background includes being a certified Personal Trainer so expect a good pep talk from her if you’re up for a motivating butt-kicking:)
Laura Owens, RN, BSN Injection Specialist
After receiving two Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Nursing, Laura began her career as a nurse in 2009. Her specialties included med/surg, ER, Cardio-thoracic before finding her niche in Trauma ICU at Banner. This former Trauma Mama quickly excelled and became charge nurse and preceptor, providing support and leadership to her team to ensure superior patient outcomes. Being a military wife who had to relocate often and busy mom of two boys, Laura decided to take a new path that encompassed her great passion for anatomy with a distinct artistic influence- naturally she gravitated toward aesthetics. True to her nature- she jumped in with both feet, surrounded herself with all things aesthetics and now has joined the SJ team with a high level of skill and a natural propensity for cosmetic injecting!
Priscilla Cervantes, RN, BSN
Injection Specialist
Priscilla has been a practicing RN for over seven years. She began her nursing career in the Pediatric ICU at Diamond Children’s Hospital. Although she loved working with kids, her passion for aesthetics brought her to Skinjectables as an injector. Priscilla aims to provide a high level of treatments, while creating individualized care for each client. Continuing education, with an emphasis on anatomy, safe injection techniques, and full-face symmetry is at the core of her practice. When not helping clients feel and look their best, Priscilla is helping other clients buy and sell homes as a licensed real estate agent. She’s a Tucson native, Believer, audible-junkie, dog mom, workout buff and lover of life!
Emily Curtis, RN, BSN
Injection Specialist
Emily graduated from BYU with a BS in nursing in 2012. She has worked at a sub-acute care facility for medically complex patients and in pediatric home health where she found having more one-on-one time with her patients allowed her to more fully meet their needs. After a brief hiatus while her husband obtained his doctorate in PT, she entered the aesthetic world and became certified in hair removal and skin tightening in sunny California. As a long-term professional goal, Emily decided to complete that dream of transitioning into being an Aesthetic nurse. She began her training at the Skinjectables Institute for cosmetic injectable procedures where her aptitude for injecting was instantly recognized. She soon began working for Skinjectables where she has developed her own style of injecting, focused on meeting client’s cosmetic goals with a gentle hand.
Danielle Schulz, RN, BSN
Injection Specialist
Having obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2012 from the UofA, Danielle started her nursing career in critical care cardiology. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and critical thinking skills, Danielle was quickly promoted to a unit preceptor and charge nurse. Recognizing that she had always had a keen interest in cosmetic procedures, her knowledge of and interest in anatomy led her to pursue a nursing field in which aesthetic beauty could be combined with science to achieve beautiful, natural results. This passion for health and beauty brought her to the Skinjectables team where she has resided a talented injector providing exceptional outcomes to her adoring clients. In her free time, you can find Danielle camping with her husband and enjoying the outdoors with her fur baby Tucker!
